After coming to Sweden at age 2 years, she was originally called Shania. I renamed this little girl Shawnee, which is a bit easier for me to say with my broad southern Swedish accent…
As you can see (pictured left and below) she had a really short hairdo when she came to me, and I expected it to take quite a while before it had grown back enough to be able to take her to shows, but to those who wait…
However, her coat came in much faster than I expected, and she participated at her first show in early April 2008 – and what a day that was! She was Best Bitch winning the CC and was also BOB/BISS at a specialty in Denmark!!! At her 2nd show she won the CC, a Cacib and was BOS. Soon thereafter she won her 3rd CC and is a Danish Show Champion!
When I picked her up and brought her home her coat was shaved down. The following pics are showing her as I regrew her coat:
